- The speed of your CPU is irrelevant. The problem is that Chip RAM is
- only 16 bit and your custom chips still run at 7MHz.

- Or get a Picasso, you can then use 256 colour screens without slowing
- down the serial port. The other solution is something like the GVP IO
- extender card, the serial ports on this don't use the custom chips.
